The Truart Wood and Pyrography Pen set has not been a disappointment. I started out purchasing a more expensive unit but like the fact that the nibs are brass and easy to change and I am having an easier time working on projects that have turned out well. Customer service is very supportive if you have any questions or concerns.

Awesome tool for art work!!! This kit comes with everything you need! Ergonomicaly speaking it s great. Small or big hands. The brass tips are sturdy and easy to change!

I am new to wood burning and purchased the (Stage 1) TRUArt Wood and Leather Pyrography Pen Set – Comes with 35 Different Tips – Dual Power Mode – 30W and 15W (35 Tips and Aluminum Case) to make handcrafted Christmas presents for my family and am extremely pleased with my purchase!! It arrived quickly, the packaging was great, and the quality of the pen and tips, etc. are excellent! The detailed instructions were helpful for a first time wood burner and the carrying case is durable and keeps everything stored all in one place.

I love this kit! I have been wanting to try woodburning for folk art designs for years and my husband got me this for Christmas. I especially love the extra bit of quality that comes from having an aluminum case for storing it because I feel confident that I won’t accidentally break or damage the tools or nibs when not in use. It feels very professional! I am an absolute beginner but was able to make cute art the first time I used it and I am improving quickly.

Tips are very well made for the price. Although they sometimes can be a little tricky in terms of burning evenly, that’s more due to the lack of temperature control than the pen itself. Overall for the price the quality is very good!
